Terms of service

1. The service

Formamigo is run by [to be added before launch] ([to be added before launch]). It helps you fill in PDF forms with an AI assistant: you upload a form, answer questions in a chat, check a preview and download the filled document.

You must be 18 or older to create an account or buy credits.

2. Not legal advice

Formamigo is not a law firm and does not give legal, tax or immigration advice. Explanations in the chat are general help to understand a form. We are not connected to any government office.

3. Your responsibility

AI can make mistakes, including in translations. You are responsible for checking every answer before you download, sign or submit a document. The information you give must be true, and either yours or given with the permission of the person it belongs to.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Formamigo to:

• make false or misleading documents, or change existing documents;
• use someone else's identity or data without the right to do so;
• upload unlawful content, or try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service.

Formamigo only fills empty fields, ticks boxes and adds text and images you place; it never changes printed text. We may suspend accounts that break these rules. We will tell you why, and refund unused credits unless they were bought fraudulently.

5. Prices, credits and payment

Uploading, chatting and previewing are free, up to 3 forms a day. Downloading a document without the watermark uses one credit. A credit costs €5, or €20 for a pack of 5, VAT included. Credits don't expire and can be used for any document in your account.

Credits are sold to you by Paddle as merchant of record: your purchase is a contract with Paddle under its buyer terms, and these terms cover your use of Formamigo.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

As an EU consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. When you use a credit to download a document, you ask us to deliver it immediately and agree that you lose the right of withdrawal for that credit; we ask you to confirm this before the credit is used. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days. See the refund policy.

7. Problems with a document

If a document doesn't work as we describe, for example an answer written in the wrong place or text missing from the file, tell us. You have the legal rights for digital content under Portuguese law (Decreto-Lei 84/2021): we fix the document, give the credit back or refund it. See the refund policy.

8. Your content

Your documents and answers remain yours. You allow us to process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep Formamigo accurate and available, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or interruptions. As far as the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This limit doesn't apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to death or personal injury, or to anything else the law doesn't let us limit. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Unused credits are lost when you delete your account, unless you asked for a refund within the refund period.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without removing the protection of the law of the country where you live. If something goes wrong, contact us first. As a consumer you can also use the Livro de Reclamações or the consumer arbitration centre CNIACC (cniacc.pt).

12. Changes and languages

We will tell you about important changes before they apply. Changes don't affect credits you have already bought; if you don't agree with them, you can stop using Formamigo and ask for a refund of your unused credits. These terms are offered in several languages; if they differ, the version more favourable to you applies.
